I was a teaching assistant for a Molecular Biology course at Harvard University for two years, and received an excellence in teaching award in 2010. I ran a small lab class on September of 2011-2014. I also served as a teaching consultant at Harvard University's Bok Center for Teaching, where I trained teaching assistants on basic teaching skills and general public speaking skills. I've been very active in the teaching community at Harvard, and am experienced in one on one tutoring as well as active learning techniques. I really enjoy getting to know my students and finding ways to engage each student with the material in a way that works with their own learning style.
